I keep losing my external drives

Will this work then if there is something wrong with the computer or the external drives, cause it does the same thing on 4 external things so by the process of illimination its got to be the computer and not the harddrives(external).

Yes i tried it on my laptop and transfered several files at once totalling about 8gb at once and did it well and didn't stop at all, if i had tried in on the offending computer it would maybe do a file of 700mb ok it might even do 2 but a file with 8gb no chance....

in your bios make sure high speed USB 2.0 support is enabled

Seagate and Western Digital and 64 bit

On start up then, is it F2 that i press to get into the BIOS??
