    Missing Icons


    I have a problem that just arose when I turned on my PC this AM, All my desk top icons are missing, the widgets are still there and everything seams to work as usual. I tried a restore to 2 days back, but no change. The only thing that I know of that was installed yesterday was a windows update. Not sure as to what or why this happened. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit OS, and am using a picture as a desktop. Was working great when I shut it down yesterday. Am running a Dell with 2GB RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo E7400@2.80GHz. Any help would be appreciated.

    Have you tried Right click on desktop, View, Show desktop icons?

    I don't think I could feel any dumber right now. Thank You, that was it, not sure why it happened. Still learning this new OS. Only had it less than 2 weeks.

    No Problem, It's often the easiest fix that gets overlooked.:)

hello everyone, 1st post here. So I've bought my brand new envy14 and Windows7 seems to work fine with me. But the thing is that some icons are missing. Here's what is happening: Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you.
