    Driver Power State Failure BSOD

    Hello guys,

I have seen lot of topics with the same subject as I have, but as I understand each of them is "special", so I am posting new one.

Sometimes when I restart / shut down my computer, it is turning off for few minutes (10 - 20m) and then I can see BSOD.
Last one was with Driver Power State Failure message - 011510-17128-01.zip minidump.
I have also few more minidumps - Minidump.zip (but I think almost all are with the same message)
I donīt know how to read it, so please, can someone check it and help me?

    I have Acer Aspire 3694, Win7

Thank you very much for help

Most probably this is due to your Deterministic Network Enhancer Miniport or Cisco Systems VPN Client (dne2000.sys). Also, please note that the dne2000.sys file is listed below as being older. Also, this could be due to the other, network related drivers in the list below.

    Please:
    - download a new copy of the Win7 drivers for the Cisco VPN Client device
    - uninstall the current copy from your system.
    - install the freshly downloaded copy
    - wait for further BSOD's.

Also, Please update or remove these older drivers that were loaded at the time of the crash. Don't use Windows Update or the Update drivers function of Device Manager. Please use the following instructions to locate the most current drivers:
    How To Find Updated Drivers:
    - search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
    - some driver links are on this page: http://www.carrona.org/drvrdown.html

    Here's the older drivers:

    Windows 7 64 bit
       #4

I always like to try to search these forums to find a solution rather than immediately asking for help. But on this topic, I give up!

I have W7 64 bit installed on a P5KC mobo with 2gb of generic DDR2 ram. Has been operating without much of a hitch for a month or so. Today, I thought I would go out and add some more ram, so slotted in another 4 gb (Lemel brand). Well, BSOD every ten minutes, with the same Power state failure message. Happening at any time, with or without any intense activity going on. So ripped out the new RAM and so far, so good. So I guess I know the culprit. However, I would like to understand why, so when I take the RAM back for a replacement, I might have a better understanding of what to avoid.

Attached are the minidump files. Wish I knew how to open and read them, but looks like there are people on this forum well equipped to do this.

Hope someone can be of help.
