    Welcome to the forum.

Please fill out your system information. Go to your User CP at the top of the page, look in the left column and click on Edit system specs. Filling in your specs will help us help you.

You can make this easier by downloading

I wonder if Norton is causing the problem. Please run this removal tool: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/englis...moval_Tool.exe

Then download and install Microsoft Security Essentials as a good free replacement.

Also, run a system files check.
Open an elevated command prompt and enter sfc /scannow.
    Update these old drivers: [/font][/code]
    Code:

    BrUsbSer.sys Wed Aug 09 08:11:02 2006
    BrSerId.sys Sun Aug 06 21:51:11 2006
    How To Find Drivers:
    - search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
    - - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference
    - - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

Your camcorder drivers or software may also be contributing. Please uninstall it, or update the program.

Jonathan types faster than I do.

The old drivers are Brother drivers. BrSerId.sys - Brother Serial I/F Driver (WDM)
BrUsbSer.sys - is the driver for Brother's devices with a USB port.
