    Memory_management bsod

    Goodday folks :)

I'm new here, just bought myself a copy of Win 7 Ultimate x64 and got some issues.
I keep getting BSOD's (MEMORY_MANAGEMENT mostly) and can't seem to find the problem. They happen pretty randomly, but mostly during internet browsing/downloading.

    Here is what I tried:
    - Clean installed Win 7 x64.
    - Stock settings (even tried underclocking the RAM).
    - RAM is set to 1.65v (as it is rated, according to OCZ).
    - Loosened the RAM timings/Mhz.
    - 5+ runs of memtest 86+ 4.00 (no errors).
    - Ran the integrity scan, no issues detected.
    - Uninstalled Anti-virus (tried 2 of them actually, none is installed at this time).
    - Tried different video drivers (latest stable and latest beta).

I'm guessing that it is some driver issue, maybe chipset or network, but I think I'm running the latest driver versions at this time for both.

I attached my latest mini-dump from a crash, hope you guys can help me out :)
This one happened during a Prime95 run on blend.

    Thanks in advance.

Have you tried the SMP memory profile yet? Sometimes OCZ requires a bit more memory voltage to run stable. 1066MHz memory speed is considered not overclocked so consider that anything over that is overclocking and will usually require some voltage adjustments in bios to run stable. CPU VTT voltage adjustments can go a long way towards getting you stable when overclocking the memory on i7 systems.

Long shot but try turning off Turbo Mode inyour BIOS.
Also what BIOS version do you have installed. V1639 repaired an memory issue.

Thanks for the quick replies :)

I tried both 1333 and 1600 mhz and VTT between 1.8 and 1.88. All had BSODs, but no errors at all in Memtest86+.
I'll try 1066 mhz after the next BSOD :)

Turbo mode is already off, I also tried disabling C1E and Speedstep.

I tried BIOS versions: 1504, 1639 and 1704, all gave the same issues I'm afraid :'(

If your memory supports SMP profiles enabling it that will usually get the settings correct for you.

Is that the same as XMP? If so I tried that one :)
If not, I'll give it a go next reboot (I'll check if I can find something like it in the BIOS).

EDIT: Just XMP, which I already tried.

I think I fixed the issue!
After trying to run my mem @ 1066 mhz without any luck; I tried uninstalling the Intel drivers (Intel Matrix Storage Manager).
Windows went back to it's standard drivers and it seems that fixed my issue (already passed an hour of Prime95 and 5 runs on LinX at this time).

I guess the Intel Matrix Storage Manager version 8.9.0.1023 has some stability issues?

I was too soon to judge :'(

It ran last evening without any issues after 2 hours Prime95 and 10 LinX runs, I have used the computer afterwards for another 3 hours. But when I started up this morning, I got another BSOD again... 3 so far.

    So any other thoughts? :P
