Random Reboots - No BSOD, No Minidump Found

I've spend the last week scouring Windows 7 Forums finding dozens of people with this issue. At random times, during use or idle, the computer goes blank and reboots. It did it once during my creating this post. Here's what I've done so far:

Starting from a clean install of an OEM copy of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on a formatted HDD

1. Updated all drivers for my devices for Windows 7
2. Loaded and installed all current Windows Updates
3. Flashed and updated the BIOS
4. Ran the driver Verifier, did not see any errors reported
5. Tried to run sfc /scannow, system reboots when the scan gets to about 60% (tried twice)
6. All non-necessary devices (printer, external HDD, etc.) are disconnected.

I would attach a minidump file but there isn't one. I've got the system set to record one but it's not there. I have the view set to display all hidden files/folders. I've done searches for *.dmp files and typed in the address I've got set in the options ... no dice.

I never get the BSOD, I have it set to not automatically reboot. It still goes blip and restarts anyway. There's no real pattern to the restarts but it loves to do it in the midst of installations.

I've held off running a memory test simply because all my fellow sufferers keep reporting no errors in the memory and any time I do anything time consuming it fails when the system goes blip again. System Info via Advisor attached.

When windows just completely vaporizes like that it is a frequent indicator of either a memory problem or some other MB/CPU problem.

This is exactly what happens when computers are overclocked, so first if doing that stop. But I JUST found out tonight that people may be overclocking and not even know it! My wifes computer has been crashing randomly lately and one time when coming up it said "auto overclock failed" just ebfore locking up on the BIOS screen. I went into the BIOS next boot and sure enough the default setup if for it to try to overclock itself. It was running a 2.6G processor at 3G by pumping up the FSB clock.

Anyway I put it on manual and put everything back to wher eit was supposed to be, time will tell...

Sounds like a PS problem to me

Checked out the BIOS, sure enough it was overclocking me. I set it back to where it is supposed to be. System seemed to be more stable and running properly. I managed a full sfc /scannow that returned no problems.

Then I tried to download and install a program. It managed to get further than it did the last time I tried but it still went blip. This time, however, it failed twice in rapid succession. (less than 2-3 mins later) Again, no minidump log was generated.

If this is a hardware issue I'll be furious since I just bought the kit in December. This thing is brand spanking new.

Complection of the computer:
ATHLON DUALx6000 + NVIDIA GeFORCE470 + PSU - ThermalTake = 650W MP: GYGABITE ga-ma770-ds3 - BIOS updated (with the old is the same thing)
windows 7 installed on different HD drives tested. computer had not clocked.
After installing the native NVIDIA driver (301.42-desktop-win7-winvista-64bit-english-whql) reboot without BSOD:
1 - In the calculation of the performance when the Windows Media Decoding complete.
2 - There flv, mp4 (youtube.com). Moreover, hardware accelerated Flash Player disabled. The latest Flash Player from the native site (adobe.com). Latest codecs: K-Lite_Codec_Pack_920_Mega.
Before installing NVIDIA driver download nvidia.com ( without NVIDIA drivers) pass the test with a bang! True score low = 1.
After installing the native NVIDIA driver (301.42-desktop-win7-winvista-64bit-english-whql) reboot without BSOD. Performance test fails (at the level of encoding media - reboot) 2 years suffer. Could not do anything. Drive home from the video card was in another city. Tried both 32 and 64 bit W7 - some 20 different assemblies (including true licenced W7). And this is after installing NVIDIA driver download from nvidia.com. All tests were tried: there was no reboot ! S & M was totally fine. FurMark_1.9.1.exe: there was no reboot . PSU - ThermalTake = 650W checked: on intel base (i5) - all right on W7. So not in the power supply business. By the way out and restart in the absence of manifest load: just as the Internet. The problem was resolved by sweeping (with the free aps: DriverSweeper_3.2.0) of the new NVIDIA Download from nvidia.com and then installing the factory made driver bundled with the card ASUS GeFORCE GTX-470. But this my problem, the reboot W7 is not over. The second reason that suddenly, for no apparent reason W7 rebooted (no BSOD) were commonplace viruses. Without going to the website youtube computer c w7x64 spent one day (and all this time was in test mode) - a brief visit to youtube - Watch any flash - and then restart (from 1 minute to 20 minutes on average). I repeat that the Flash Player hardware acceleration is disabled. Drivers in health and working power supply. All tests (percent, RAM, video card) - without rebooting - everything is perfect! Just come on youtube - and to you goat! disable "Auto-at failures" to see the blue screen of death, does not work ... reboots again. also dumps does not save the minidump. So I can not give you this info in accordance with the rules.
