A problem caused the program to stop working

I open any program and everything seems OK, until I access the Menu button and right there I get the "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly"

For example: I open Adobe from a file whn I want to save it, I click on file and pop up tells me this program has failed.

This happens to Winrar, Adobe PDF reader, Paint and many other apps. Anyone is aware of the solution, or what causes this issue?

    Hi and welcome

You need to go into event viewer. type eventvwr in search. go to the windows log>application tab. You need to look for critical errors (the have red in the left hand column) that say app hang, app crash, etc.

When you find them use the snipping tool (type snipping in search) to make a screenshot of it
to upload it you use the attachment icon (shaped like a paperclip) on the reply form.

    Perfect

That event ID is often caused by something called DEP. DEP or data execution Prevention. It prevents apps from launching in protected memory space. It is located in your system control panel>advanced settings>performance>DEP. default settings are for MS apps only. If that is correct you can add the apps that fail to the exceptions list or you can turn it off all together. instructions for that are here. DEP - Enable or Disable - Vista Forums

Let us know if you need help
