Windows 7: Installing as any user does not have privileges

Well, as of right now I've only tried to install ESET. I have researched the error message and have seen that this issue happens with more than just ESET, so it seems to be a "Installer doesn't have enough privileges for [folder of install path]" bug.

Some things I have been noticing is that I don't have rights to delete folders (I wanted to delete all ESET folders before re-attempting install again) and even then I don't have rights.

I'm flabberghasted as just how "un-admin" like the "admin" role is here, lol.

Try installing another program, and seeing if it allows access.

OK, I just downloaded Firefox 3.6 and installed it. Upon installing, it prompted me (I think that was the UAC) and I was able to install it with no problems.

So ESET is the program you are having trouble with. What happens if you run the ESET installer?

It goes through the install process, and when it gets to the point where it starts the install, I end up getting that notice that the installer does not have privileges for all the files it is trying to install.

Try right-clicking on the installer and selecting "Run as administrator".

That option is not available.

In the topmost context menu I have:

Install
Repair
Uninstall
Grant Admin Full Control*
Take Ownership*
Troubleshoot Compatibility
Open With...

Those with a * I believe were added by separate registry patches.

I get the option RUN AS A DIFFERENT USER.

I selected ADMINISTRATOR but don't have the password for that account. I tried nothing and that didn't work.
