    this is what i got:

On Sun 24/01/2010 02:22:36 your computer crashed
This was likely caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe
    Bugcheck code: 0x9F (0x3, 0xFFFFFA8007B56B70, 0xFFFFF800043B0518, 0xFFFFFA8011B8D2B0)
    Error: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
    Dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\012410-21406-01.dmp
    file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
    company: Microsoft Corporation
    description: NT Kernel & System
The crash took place in a standard Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect, possibly the culprit may be another driver on your system which cannot be identified at this time.

based on the error codes, it seems that a driver did not shut down a piece of hardware correctly, i would recommend checking all your drivers are up to date, beyond that, im afraid ill have to let soeone with a bit more experience take a look

Could be a heat issue , what are your temps ?

    or a program that's causing issues ?

have a look in your performance information and tools\advanced for warnings and check your system logs maybe setup a performance counter ?

wow guys thanks for your quick responses

    my temps seem fine
my cpu idles at about 32c and the motherboard idles at about 34c
with this build it seems wierd that the board idles higher then the cpu but i think its just the way the airflow is because of the ginormous heatsinks on my ram
my video cards idle about 44c
cpu never goes over 45 under load and video never goes past 55c

    amdppm.sys
    these are my procesor drivers?
    should i reinstall them?
what is the best way to uninstall and reinstall them?

in my logs i see alot of warnings and errors

BTStackServer.exe caused a delay in the system shutdown process

i think this is my bluetooth adapter i will uninstall it ans see what happens

also firefox.exe caused a delay as well as lsass.exe explorer.exe

the desktop manager is expieriencing heavy resource contention
reason:graphics subsystem resources are over filled

i am going to try to uninstall and clean my video drivers with driver sweeper from 3dguru

but i dont know the best way to do this for my processor drivers

well this is a windows driver and if I have it right I think you have the latest version "13/07/2009"

but something is tipping it over , I think your on the right track checking through your logs.

are you getting any service errors possibly display driver ?

please post anymore minidumps you get and let us know how it's going ?

i think that i might know what is doing this
when i first built the computer i had a phenom 9950 installed then i purchased a phenom II 965
when i installed the cpu i went into device manager and uninstalled the old processor
then put the new 1 in on reboot
    could this be causing this
what do i do to fix it if it is?

I doubt this would be the cause but you could try going to device manager and unninstall "processors" then scan for changes ?

do you see any conflicts in system information and keep an eye on any warnings in performance information and tools , I am not convinced we are looking in the right area yet

this crash is your 1394ohci.sys firewire driver showing as DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

I suggest Right click the 1394 driver in the device manager > update driver software> Browse my computer > Let me pick > then choose the one with legacy in it's name > Install that :)

your rivatuner driver is old and needs updating or removing ?

let us know how it goes

    Windows 7 32bit
       #10

Helo i thought i would also share a problem i once got too with Windows 7 32bit here.

I got Blue Screen related to memory, probably after trying a windows vista driver since someone said it could work on windows 7, but it might only cause problems in the end so im not doing it again....
its about 3 controlers i cant find for windows 7:

    *Mass storage controller
    *Coprocessor
    USB 2.0 Camera

i believe one controller comes in Chipset of Nvidia driver, the other on Sata Driver i think.
What i did after this problem was.... formating again and i used the 1gb memory on slot 1 instead of 2nd slot where i now used 2gb memory in it (my laptop have 2 slots only and suports maximum till 4gb i think) Im an average user here, hope you can give me any advice in case such hapen again :)

To be safe im no longer trying a vista driver in windows 7, am i losing too much here about those 2 controllers i dont know much about?
