    got rid of rivaatuner
i have switched to evga precision for tuning my fans on my video card
and i installed the updated drivers for my soundcard from windows update
and since then things have been running nice shut down takes a few seconds now even with like 10 apps running
the only thing i need to do is get this bluetooth dongle going
in a few days if all is well ill try

if i may ask an offtopic question id like to ask you about setting up bluetooth and if i could just use my motherboard if it has infrared on it or do i need this dongle?
stupid question probably but id figure id ask
good to hear your running trouble free so far lets hope it stays that way

at this point it might be a good idea to make a backup image if you have some drive space on an external or alternative drive, then I would set a system restore point by right click computer\properties click system protection and create then follow the prompts ..........

what's the make and model of your bluetooth dongle ?

go to your manufacturers website for the bluetooth dongle and download the latest drivers then plug in the dongle and install your drivers .......

use it and see if it makes your system unstable or you get crashes ?

keep us posted on your progress
