Windows 7: BSOD With Dragon Age Origins

24 Jan 2010   #11

BSOD (Blue screen of death) is almost always caused either by faulty hardware or dodgy hardware drivers - in this case your graphics.
Make sure you have the correct most up-to-date graphics card drivers installed.
If you still get the problem, then you'll have to start investigating your hardware. It is possible that you may even have faulty RAM, considering Dragon Age is a huge game and if its trying to load data to RAM and you have a faulty module this may well be a cause of the problem.
However, my advice would be to swap out your graphics card first and see if you still get the problem...

Yes, but Sound Blaster Live is not yet supported. (I just check on the US website, but on french website there is nothing)

Edit : Maybe, i've founded a beta driver for 7. But i think it's 32 bits.

Sounds like you've answered your own question! If you know that Sound Blaster Live is not supported yet, why did you even bother posting this problem?
My advice: get a supported sound card!
