    BSOD With Dragon Age Origins

    Hi everyone,

I just passed to Windows 7 64 bits this weekend and I have a recurrent problem.

When i play to Dragon Age Origin my computer just reboot with a dump crash. I can't played more than one hour. I've checked the .dmp but i can't read that.

If everyone can identify the problem I will be the happiest man of the world ! (because this game is very good)

    Thanks!

    P.S : I'm french , Sorry if there's some bizarre sentences.

    What ?
You need to upload the dump files as per instructions in previous post, if your having problems you may need to drag them to desktop before it will let you zip them up, then post them with paperclip attachment on your next post

    Hi and welcome

This crash wes probably caused by you sound dirver portcls.sys

I would download a fresh copy and reinstall it
also i would run a system file check
type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow
    .

    DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER (f7)
A driver has overrun a stack-based buffer. This overrun could potentially
allow a malicious user to gain control of this machine.
    DESCRIPTION
A driver overran a stack-based buffer (or local variable) in a way that would
have overwritten the function's return address and jumped back to an arbitrary
address when the function returned. This is the classic "buffer overrun"
hacking attack and the system has been brought down to prevent a malicious user
from gaining complete control of it.
Do a kb to get a stack backtrace -- the last routine on the stack before the
buffer overrun handlers and bugcheck call is the one that overran its local
    variable(s).
    Arguments:
Arg1: 0200f88003f73fbc, Actual security check cookie from the stack
Arg2: 0000f88003f73fbc, Expected security check cookie
Arg3: ffff077ffc08c043, Complement of the expected security check cookie
    Arg4: 0000000000000000, zero

I have a creative Sound blaster Live on the computer but Seven doesn't want it. So i've installed motherboard integrated chipset. So I think it's possible.

I think i have to drop my Sound blaster and clean my 7 !
