    your first crash won't load in windows debugger for some reason but in bluescreenview it marked
    aswMonFlt.sys aswMonFlt.sys+9854 0x8e683000 0x8e69a000 0x00017000 0x4b54a534 18/01/2010 18:15:16
    as responsible for the crash, this is a driver from alwin software = avast , please remove it ?

    the second crash was involving Pool_Corruption

    Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

    BugCheck C5, {4, 2, 1, 8291f8b7}

    Probably caused by : Pool_Corruption ( nt!ExDeferredFreePool+2c7 )

    Followup: Pool_corruption
    ---------
    this is almost always caused by drivers that have corrupted the system pool which could again be avast

    I suggest replace it and see if it cures the blue screen crashes ?

    Hi and welcome

    these were probably caused by your avast AV file aswMonFlt.sys. corrupting memory;

    I would uninstall it to see if the problem goes away and then re-install the AV of choice.
    You also have 2 really old drivers

    Code:
    slnt.sys        0x90715000    0x90719620    0x00004620    0x3fbc49da    11/19/2003 11:58:02 PM
    secdrv.SYS        0x994a1000    0x994ab000    0x0000a000    0x45080528    9/13/2006 8:18:32 AM
    I would also run a system file check
    type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow

    let us know the results

    yes the system pool corrupt is only talking about the corruption at the time of the crash i.e. corrupt missing or lost data and should (with no guarantees) be ok when the system is reloaded

    Here is the result :

    C:\>sfc /scannow

    Beginning system scan.This process will take some time.

    Beginning verification phase of system scan.Verification 100% complete.

    Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
    slnt.Sys is related to realtek ethernet.What is secdrv.SYS related to? Since realtek driver is the only one that i had manually installed.What is secdrv.SYS ?

    secdrv.sys is a Driver for the SafeDisc protection scheme from macrovision. It does come from Microsoft, and it is needed for SafeDisc games to run correctly .....

    I would guess the version number could depend on which game or app installed it ?

    It was highlighted as creating an exploitable vulnerability on windows XP and server 2003 systems

    I have this present on my system and the driver version is september 09, I have seen it on many other peoples system's and Im not aware of it causing any problems on a Vista or windows 7 install :)
