    Windows 7 freezing/stop responding.

    Hello,
I started having this problem after I changed my motherboard. I had no problems with windows 7 at all.
Windows 7 just stops working/responding I can't do anything. It happens while I am using Internet Explorer or doing something on desktop ( never freezes while playing a game ) so i have to manually shut it down or reset.

Here is the list of errors i have got after i reset. wieved in event log

    Error 1/28/2010 1:42:37 PM Application Error 1000 (100)
Faulting application name: iexplore.exe, version: 8.0.7600.16385, time stamp: 0x4a5bc69e
Faulting module name: Flash10d.ocx, version: 10.0.42.34, time stamp: 0x4ae7baed
    Exception code: 0xc0000005
    Error 1/28/2010 1:48:45 PM EventLog 6008 None
The previous system shutdown at 1:43:54 PM on 1/28/2010 was unexpected.
    Critical 1/28/2010 1:48:34 PM Kernel-Power 41 (63)
The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.
    Warning 1/28/2010 1:48:55 PM Wininit 11 None
Custom dynamic link libraries are being loaded for every application. The system administrator should review the list of libraries to ensure they are related to trusted applications.

    Hello Johnny, Welcome to SF,

While we have feezing or crash first things what we need to check would to make sure we have all the dirvers to be updated. Try disabling the Firewall ( Not Windows Firewall ) . If it happens with the Internet Explorer try opening it without No add-ons. Look this article: Tips for solving problems with Internet Explorer Still having the problem try to reboot the System in Selective Startup

    Hope this helps,
    Captain

    Hello,
    Thank you for your respond.
I checked all of my drivers and I am pretty sure they are all up to date.
Done all the updates for my motherboard, graphics card, sound card etc. all of them. Nothing shows up in device manager too, they all look up to date.

trying Microsoft® Windows® Malicious Software Removal Tool (KB890830) x64 right now.

and then I will check the selective startup and let you know how it goes.

    Thankyou

It says Find the offending application on the "Applications" tab. It's status will most likely be listed as "Not responding".
But when this thing happens, my computer will completely frozen I can't do cntrol +shift +esc after that.
Internet explorer never stops responding, my computer will just freeze and all i can do is a hard reboot.
