BSOD - Shutdown unexpectedly

Thanks for the help. Attached is the file you requested. After zigzags post I thought I had taken care of the asio.sys problem. From my googling it looked like it went with the ASUS probe diagnostic utility. I ended up unistalling it and I thought I had gotten rid of the driver. I saw an updated ASUS probe program on the website and will try to install that.

I'll run one of the malware scans and report any findings in a bit. I use Microsoft's security essentials, but do have access to norton antivirus. Would that be better?

Thanks again. I have to say this community is really helpful. I don't know where else I would go with these questions.

Great thanks. I installed the updated ASUS probe program that ASUS had posted on it's site, since uninstalling it earlier didn't seem to help. I ran the bitdefender program and it didn't find anything. I'll post if the computer crashes again. Thanks

After installing the updated ASUS probe program my system didn't crash for a full day, but when I woke it up from sleep this morning I saw a message that it had shutdown unexpectedly. I've attached the dmp file for the latest crash. I'm not entirely sure if the asio.sys driver is gone. When I did a search for it using the start>search that specific driver didn't appear, I saw asio32.sys and asio64.sys. I've tried to recreate a crash by putting the computer into sleep mode and waking it up, but it only seems to crash when left alone for a while. Do you think this has to do with the terabyte hardrive problem? I read the article you linked to, but don't know how to verify if the stop codes match. Thanks for the continued help.

Thanks again. I'll request the hotfix. Do you have any guess on why this may happen at the same time everyday? The random crashes have disappeared but it crashes everyday at 11:24am. Unfortunately I've never been home then to see what happens. I've checked everything I can think of that may have automatic updates and nothing is scheduled for that time. I'll post an update after I get the hotfix. Thanks.

I applied the hotfix and no crashes for the past 3 days. So far so good. Thanks for all the help.
