BSoD issues and reinstalling OS(xp AND 7 gurus please)

    so, i should install it to a flash drive, then boot from usb from the other computer?

    now all i gotta do is get a flash drive

    You have to make the usb bootible. there is a tutorial on it in the tutorial section.then just copy the ISO to mark the usb bootible in bios, and 12 mins later your done

    a third party app like imgburn.

    I think you can just copy the files across. hang on I will look at mine



    EDIT Mine is blank so I cant tell you for sure. try the files first and if it doesnt work then ISO

    wait a sec, you arent telling me you think its the disk are you? cuz, like i said, trust me it works.

    it said that it needed a cd, but can i boot those off a USB?

    Yes, but I don't know how to do that (the memtest is usually a linux distro, but I'm unsure of what your hard drive is and what kind of bootable OS that the hard drive manufacturer uses.
