    Extremely Slow start up/Freezing on start up

    Hey guys, I have a very decent speed computer and rem but recently my computer has been freezing for at least 3 minutes on start up whenever network access is hindered or there is a problem in the action center and is just really slow. Inter quad core at 2.66 ghz and 4 Gb rem.

    I only turned on security softwares on start up and for a computer like this there shouldn't be any problem with a fast start up with the little amount of work it has to do on start up. What's going on? Anyone have similar problems? This is frustrating since its start up is slower than the bad performing computer I had before buying this one... -_-;;

    Msconfig/Startup.Msconfig/Startup.Hi, at the Start Orb / Search, type into the box msconfig click and open it at the top of the Menu page. When the window opens choose Start-up and click on it, Uncheck all the boxes, except your Anti Virus one. Click apply, then OK, and then Restart. Your Machine will shut down then, and restart. Lets see if it is one of those programs in there that was causing the grief.
