Welcome!
This is certainly a hardware problem. What brand hard drive do you have? I would recommend going to the manufacturer's site and looking for their advanced disk diagnostic tools. Also, you should probably test your RAM. Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn it to a CD using the Windows ISO-burning tool. Then boot up the CD and run at least 5 passes. Hope we can get this figured out! ~JK |

On addition to that post us the MSINFO32 file
Quote:
MSINFO32
Please go to Start and type in "msinfo32.exe" (without the quotes) and press Enter Save the report as an .nfo file, then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post. If you're having difficulties with the format, please open an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt and type "msinfo32 /nfo C:\Users\Public\Desktop\TEST.NFO\" (without the quotes) and press Enter. Then navigate to the C:\Users\Public\Desktop directory to retrieve the TEST.NFO file. If you have difficulties with making this work, please post back. Captain |

Let's try to test your other hardware. Try removing all unnecessary hardware from your computer, like hard drives, video cards, USB devices, etc.

I take it you only have 1 hard drive. If you had another one you were using, that's when my suggestion would be applicable.
![]() Still go ahead and unplug all the other unnecessary hardware. |
