    BSOD - Windows 7 64bit - Hardware Error 124

    Hi,

I'm new to this sort of thing so please bear with me. I have a Windows 7 64bit computer and I keep getting a BSOD. The dumps all tell me that I have a hardware error but I can't isolate it. I have swapped out my RAM chips, disabled my NIC, swapped out my video cards and I keep getting the same error. Attached is my analysis from the Microsoft Diagnostic and Recovery Tool. Let me know if you need anything else?

    Welcome!

Have you tested your hard drive? Go to the manufacturer's site and download their advanced diagnostic tools.

Also, are you overclocking? If so, stop, and see if the problem goes away. If you are running RAID, try updating the drivers.

    Good luck!

It's not overclocked - using the default setting in the BIOS. I have WD hard drive and ran the lifeguard diagnostic tools and it came back clean. Any other ideas?
