When I said to post the dumps, I didn't mean in a second thread, but I just ran the latest 3 dumps, but they are all the same and point to the ataport.sys. From what I scanned over here:

    ATA Port Driver

This appears to be a driver installed by the OS, and though it encourages us to use it, I would install the manufacturer's chipset driver for the motherboard. Sometimes this must be done from Safe Mode, or Windows will balk.

I would suggest deleting the other thread. You can attach the dumps to any post that you have already made using the advanced editing feature, so that anyone can run them for confirmation.
    Oops, my mistake, sorry.

I apologize, but I have very limited knowledge with this stuff, so could you explain to me what drivers I need and where to get them? Thank you so much for your help, and sorry for asking all of this from you.

I'm not familiar enough with your notebook to give a direct link (which we aren't supposed to do anyway), so here is the Asus Download Wizard, so you can find what you need:

I have absolutely no idea how, but the problem has managed to fix itself.

After downloading a program I saw on this site used for changing the background of the log-on screen, and then actually using it to change the background, my computer suddenly stopped shutting itself down. It hasn't happened once in the four days since changing the background, and I have actually tried to make it happen. I let it sit idle for over an hour, watching and waiting for the BSOD. I locked the computer and watched it for over an hour as well, waiting. Normally, it would happen with-in 10 minutes, but nope, not anymore.

I have no idea why or how, but it's fixed.
