-HUGE PROBLEM- Virus uninstalled harddrive

    go to cmd prompt and locate the diagnostic tool and then run it. It might be running and closing before you can see it. opening it in cmd will prevent it from closing the window

    Edit: Make sure to run cmd as admin as well. good luck hope this helps

    Well actually its an .exe file. But a command prompt shows up.

    Well actually its an .exe file. But a command prompt shows up.

    When you run the .exe, if no windows open, just the cmd, then it closes: then running the file from within a cmd window would allow you to look at it. It might be erroring out and closing the window, but it wont close the window if you opened the cmd first. I am pretty sure of this as this happens to me with programs at work. I have to run them from the cmd for the window to not close. Also, If it is reporting an error, you can post pic of it here.
