    Gateway SX2841 Brand New Crashing

Hey Guys! I recently got a new GatewaySX2841 and have been installing some freeware without trouble. However, when I installed AVG and restarted the desktop pc it popped up a blue screen after logging-in. After that happened I ran it in safe mode and uninstalled AVG. This didn't help either. The following is the problem information provided by Windows:
    Problem signature:
    Problem event name: Bluescreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 1033

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: 3b
    BCP1: 00000000C0000005
    BCP2: FFFFF88002D8303C
    BCP3: FFFFF88007928F70
    BCP4: 0000000000000000
    OS Version: 6_1_7600
    Service Pack: 0_0
    Product 768_1

    Any ideas?
