After the recovery cd finishes searching for installations, click Next.

    Select command prompt.

    Type:

    Diskpart

    then press enter.

    lis vol

then press enter - make an note of exactly what it says and post it back here.

    Exi

    then press enter.

    Hi,

Try marking D as the active partition.

Boot the 7 dvd to command prompt.

    Type:

    diskpart

    sel vol d

    act

    exi.

    Hope it helps.

[Good idea to get this as it is free for a limited time - worth having for the future: http://partition-tool.com/giveaways/epmpro/ ]
