BIOS Gone

On my Leveno laptop the C drive crashed and I somehow got on from the D drive but anyways I was editing the partitions and I deleted my C drive combining it with my D drive and I never formated it due to it glitching and not letting me. I turned off my laptop and now it says I am missing a BIOS, is there anyway I can run the Windows 7 setup disc from my blank computer?

You never said which Model of Leveno laptop you have but see if this helps.

I turn on the computer, press the blue button at startup.

1. "Windows is loading files"

2. Next, a Lenovo screen comes up that says "Rescue and Recovery 4"

3. A window shows up that says "Welcome to Rescue and Recovery". Underneath it lists all the features of rescue and recovery. I click "Continue".

4. Along the left side I see the following options:
Rescue and Restore:
-Recovery overview
-Rescue files
-Restore your system
-Create migration file

Configure:
-Configuration overview

-Access BIOS

Communicate:
-Communication overview
-Open browser
-Download files
-Map network drive

Troubleshoot:
-Diagnostic overview
-Diagnose hardware

-Boot from another device
-Norton AntiVirus

5. I choose "Restore your system"

6. Gives me two options:
-Restore my entire hard drive, including all personal data and settings from a backup

-Restore only the Windows operating system and applications from a backup

7. I choose the first option

8. It gives me a list of backups to restore from. But no option to restore to factory settings.

Just one thing puzzels me about this statement is bios gone. If the Basic Input Output System is gone how can you start up the system? Unless it has a dual bios. Just asking so I might learn something as well. Thanks Fabe

I press the blue lenovo button but then it only takes me to the Startup Interrupt Menu. I can't find Rescue and Recovery option. BTW it is a T60p laptop.
