    Windows 7 64-Bit Crashing Randomly

    Hi all,

I've had some random crashing with my OS. I can't see any common trend but basically I'll be using the pc and then it will freeze, switch to a random colored pattern on the screen with lines running across. The BSOD error is not the same code but I think this may have something to do with my RAM.

    I've attached the minidump files.

    Specs:
    CPU: intel i5-750
    Motherboard: GA-P55-UD3R
    RAM: G-Skill F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL (Ripjaws)
    VCard: XFX ATI 5770HD 1GB

Any chance someone could assist please?

    Thanks

Your .dmp file shows a Memory Management error... Download memtest86 and allow it to run for at least 5 passes... post your results..

    Tews,

    Thanks for the reply.

I ran Memtest and it resulted in multiple errors... thousands. I didn't write down the results unfortunately but there was errors at numerous addresses.

I did however swap the ram and ran memtest again. I ran it for 20 passes but this time I had no error...?

What does this indicate, can it still be the ram or maybe the motherboard?

    Cheers
