    Oh yes,
under the present circumstances then go to:

Malwarebytes.org DO NOT GO TO Malwarebytes.org

Download and install Malware Bytes Antimalware program.

If the first time you run this program, you are told that to remove all of the viruses you must purchase the full version then you downloaded the wrong file.

hi there karl, guess you got a point coz right now, i have noticed that whenever I boot up my PC I got these notifications that says my anti virus and firewall isnt working, then after I open up the mcafee security center, It would just go away...I have been using mcafee for about 3 years now(i have a subscription) and I must say that its one good anti virus...but I'll try what you are suggesting and maybe this would correct the problem...thank you very much...

    demeter,
If that subscription is expiring then by all means
    download Microsoft Security Essentials,
    disconnect from the Internet,
    100% uninstall McAffee,
    reboot,
    install Microsoft Security Essentials,
run Microsoft Security Essentials' quick scan,
    reconnect to Internet,
Immediately, update the Microsoft Security Essentials database (Update tab),
    run a quick scan again,
when you get a couple of hours free then run a full scan.
