Windows 7: BSOD and Computer Locks up, I'm going crazy!

16 Aug 2010   #11

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600)

My apologies for not letting you all know I got the problem fix. I think I was just so thrilled the computer was running the way it should I forgot about everything else.

I ended up taking the computer back to the guys that had built it originally. I told them everything that I had done and that I was ready to check myself into an insane asylum I was so frustrated with the thing.

It ends up the particular MB that they had installed had a known bug that would cause Windows 7 to crash. So they gave me a new MB and it hasn't crashed since!

Computer locks up
When I start my computer everything starts as normal, then after 5 minutes or so it locks up. If I run McAfee, Malwarebytes or AVG...
