Windows 7 Crash/Random Reboot
Hey guys,
I have the same problem that a lot of people here seem to be having. My computer randomly reboots, usually during the night, about once a day. Either that, or it just crahttps://www.sevenforums.com/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=38shes and when I wake up I have to force it to shut down and restart it again. I have a few theories of the cause of this problem, but I am no expert. I believe I may have a virus called vundo, as I have had other problems related to this virus, such as Firefox's search bar not working. Either that, or it may be something to do with Norton 360. I believe it happens over night because I have my Norton 360 set to run during times my computer is idle. I went to run a full system scan today, and withing 30 minutes the computer crashed.
Anyway, sorry this is so long, but I'm trying to give you as much information as possible. I'll also attach to this the many errors and warnings that I get in event log during the times of the crash. Thank you in advance for your help and support.
