Your problem is screaming "RAM" to me.

Use Speedfan to test your temps. Also, open up the side of your case and blow a ban inside, aimed at your motherboard.

Going to attempt a repair install soon, any chance I'd lose my data doing this? I have no way to back up at the moment.

also noticed my system freezes and loops the sound over and over and I have to hard restart. Guess it is the ram.

No significant chance of data loss. Don't worry about it.

Twice now it's turned itself off and instantly restarted with no BSOD message. Any more clues on it now?

the CPU runs at 55-60C max, and GPU at 70-85C full load.

Idle temps are 40 and 60 respectively.

The CPU temperature is a little hot once it reaches 60c, but nothing I'd presume that would cause it to turn off.

Try a repair install if you haven't already.
