    HDD Problem on Seven

    Hello,
I just installed a seven on my computer and the problems appeared:
When I shut down the computer it closed normally all the services but when the moment of completely close comes it failed, in the manner that the HDD (green WD 1T) starts again, than stops again, than start again and so on.
Can anybody help me with this? (the MB is a gigabyte)

    Thanks,

    Marian

when you try to restart is your computer making it to the bios select screen or does it not go that far. the reason i ask is because i had a similar issue on my laptop thought it was the hdd but turned out the thing decided randomly to kick the bucket even though i hadnt had any problems with it.

It just remains in the windows screen (shutting down) with the HDD starts and stop. For sure there exists a tricky update. The idea is that in the beginning (If I remember well) there were only one problem with the screen saver / stand by the monitor, and I think that this is from the drivers of my MB so, I download from Gigabyte all the available drivers for vista / seven. I installed them and I think that from that moment the problem with HDD appeared. In the end I solved with the stand by, installing last mouse drivers from Microsoft... but I remain with HDD issue.
I tried yesterday evening to uninstall the mainbord drivers and... nothing happen.
    All the Best,
    Marian
