    Download ShellExView

The rule is to disable non-Microsoft context menu handlers *one-by-one* and verify if the problem is solved. If disabling one does not solve the problem, undo the disabled item and disable the next non-Microsoft handler. Do the same until the problem is solved and finally identify the culprit. Scroll right to see the Company Name column in ShellExView.

    Good Luck,
    Captain

    capt.
can you verify the following, i had the above problem usually when i used a registry cleaner, and then after a reboot.
therefore by doing a restore everything should go back to normal.
fit's the above discription, "viperek" did nothing after the reboot, did he do anything before ?
after your tuturol, did he reboot.

    Tapuz,

Registry cleaners can clear the Start Menu recent list but not the Context Menu. That's why i asked him to follow that Tutorial to reset the Context menu to default.

    Hope this helps,

thanks captain, for your always helpful information.

once had a cleaner program named "winset" after cleaning i would get that blank screen mentioned above.
to get it back i would use a registry patch.
never used it in windows seven, only vista.
