Bluescreen of death while downloading with Mtorrent

Hi,

Today I read tons of posts and threads about BSODS, and specifics - I cannot find any solution to my problem.

I tried to reinstall network adapter, did memtest, problem happens when I start to download files with Mtorrent - I use high speed line and it reaches 1mb/s, I leave computer, it stays working on download, I check back it restarted... this happens every single time I leave mtorrent working.

I thought program is at fault, but guys at mtorrent support forum indicate that it could be related to hardware which is being pushed too much... I need help please!

I have relatively new laptop, HP HDX16, win7

Hi and welcome

this crash was probably caused by your netowrk/wifi driver NETw5s64.sys. I wold download a fresh copy and it install it

would also run a system file check
(type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>SFC /SCANNOW)

if you are over clocking stop

Let us know the results

Ken

bingo!

I read this on HP driver page:
Provides Intel WiFi Link Driver version 13.0.0.107.
- Fixes an intermittent issue where a Microsoft Windows Bug Check (system hangs) with code 0xD1 may be encountered when the wireless radio is on.

I install it and post back results.

OK just to Test go to that location rename the Extension of that driver.
NETw5s64.sys to NETw5s64.old then reboot and test whether it has the same problem. Uninstall your Third party protection like Antivirus / Firewall and see whether it makes any difference.

Good Luck,
