MSS12624.log

I was watching a movie on Hulu, when the desktop froze and the sound started buzzing, and I had to do a forced restart, so there is no dump file of the crash.

After rebooting, I went to the Event Viewer, where it showed that a log was generated by the name in the post title. When I open it, hoping to find a clue as to what went wrong, all that I found was a bunch of some kind of hieroglyphic gibberish. I don't that the log contains anything useful, but I'm wondering if there is some kind of utility to make it readable in plain english?

EDiT: The Reliability History doesn't show any record of a problem today.

So much for that idea. I found a log viewer that claimed that it could read any kind of log, but when I went to the log location, the name of the log that I named above was missing, and replaced by two others. When I tried to read the first, the viewer said that the log didn't exist. When I went to the second, it said that it loaded it successfully, but the viewer was empty.

I then went back to the log location in Windows Explorer, and not only were all of the files missing, but also the folder that contained them. I have no idea of what is going on, and I guess that I'm not going to.
