Bootmgr is missing

Hi, please help while i still have some hair to tear out!
I have installed win 7 utimate as a clan install and now for some reason it won't boot from the hdd, it keeps coming up with bootmgr is missing etci have tried rebuilding bcd and i have followed the commands but, it still will not boot without the disc in, i am fairly new at this so i am not a techie can anyone help?

I suspect you were dual booting and deleted off the older partition. when win 7 installs with an older system it puts a hidden boot folder containing win 7 boot files. If that is the case do you have a backup you can restore from? how about a win 7 dvd to do a repair install?

Hi, I have tried the win 7 disc to do the repair install and nothing seems to work,as i said not exactly a computer genius but,, could the bootmgr file on the disc not be physicaly moved to the boot file on windows?
