Were they Windows 7 specific drivers or Vista drivers? Would you mind posting the model number of your laptop please :)

The file names seem to be the same, but I got this one instead. I entered my serial number, which gave me the specific files that work for this laptop.

    Atheros Wireless Network Driver.

When you installed the updated drivers, did you uninstall the one you had first? Or just let it install over them? :)

I just let it install over them. I'm guessing I should have uninstalled them first, shouldn't have I?

It's not necessary usually to uninstall first unless there's an issue :) Which there appears to be. Wanna give that a try?

So I should uninstall them, then install the updated one, correct?
