Even when its plugged. i did notice it started doing this when i installed a driver for a pc controller from phillips brand but i deleted that and it still happens. it happend twice yesterday and the day before that and 1 just happend 5 mminutes ago...any suggestions?

It could be your battery is not working right or your charger... some kinda short circuit messed either up, but im not sure though. Or you didnt remove the driver properly if thats whats causing it.

If you have it for 2 weeks than thats good, you should try returning it or exchanging it because most stores dont take back/exchange electronics in 3 weeks. And for the problem, it seems very strange for a new laptop...

so this will be the 3rd time....such a shame...the first problem was the battery not lasting anything over than 2 hours and now this...it even says i had at least 34% before it shut off unexpectedly 20 minutes ago...

Your laptop is new, IDK what is causing all this... my dad used to work at bestbuy and he said to be carefull whenever you buy electronics because after using electronics on display they put it back in the box and re sell them, so you got to be carefull when you buy electronics from anywhere to make sure they weren't returned or used for display. Good Luck

    yeah
im starting to think its a problem with the laptop itself again or the company (toshiba) who makes bad laptops lol
maybe ima get my money back and get another laptop and maybe with ddr3 ram and dual core for less than $400...maybe.
    so yeah.

but lets hear from the other people see what they gotta say about this situation.
