Uninstall your Synaptics Pointing Device, and do what jcgriff2 instructed above.

Yes, as Jonathan King said, follow all suggestions. We all know each other and to put it simply, we each have own own areas of concentration within the BSOD community. No suggestion by one countermands that of another.

This one was caused by your mdmxsdk.sys driver. I is dated 2006 and its age may be cause enough to cause these.

You bought the computer in 2007 and a driver is dated 2006. That sounds just about right and is perfectly normal. Keep in mind that 2007 was long before Win 7 was released. Many software and hardware companies had to upgrade their drivers for Win 7. Most of us here have had to upgrade a few drivers unless we recently bought a brand new system.

Take the name of the driver (this one is the first on the list above) mdmxsdk.sys. Put that in google. It will show you who makes it.

this on says "Mdmxsdk.sys with description Diagnostic Interface DRIVER is a driver file from company Conexant belonging to product Diagnostic Interface. ..." Go to conexant and find it. download and install. Its easy. But time consuming

We use the lmt command from within Windbg.

    How To Find Drivers:
    - search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
    - - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference
    - - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads
