    Can Someone Please Help Me?

I was told to switch from Vista to Windows 7 because my audio service was no longer working.

I purchased Windows 7 Ultimate through my school and now my speakers work fine BUT every time I boot the system it usually shows a BSOD with one of three messages

    1) DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL (most common)

    2) clock interrupted server

    3) secondary processor not allocated in time

I did a custom install of the OS and formatted so it was a clean install.

I have no idea what to do but i really need the screens to go away so i can do my school work.

I am not a computer expert so if someone can explain in simple terms that would be much appreciated. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

The most common cause of DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL is a faulty device driver. Have a look in Device Manager whether any driver is flagged in yellow.

Right-click on the files, and click send to compressed (zipped) folder.

Right-click on the mimidump folder and make sure the Read Only box is unchecked.

You may need to do that to the individual files inside too.

I went to the properties under the minidump folder and unchecked the read only box then hit apply.

It still would not let me zip the file and has the message that says "not found or read only"

I'm sorry again for the trouble. thanks again for the help

is there another way to view the files or am i just doing something wrong. i tried numerous files
