Need help solving dump and crash problem

In November I built a new system which was running well aside from some minor graphics driver hiccups. Over the last few months though I've been experiencing many dumps and reboots caused by a number of processes and applications. Sometimes A BSOD will show, sometimes everything just freezes and other times the system will just crash and reboot itself. It has been quite frustrating. Here are the guts of my system:

    CPU: Core i5 750 2.66Ghz
    MoBo: Gigabyte P55M-UD4
    Memory: Corsair XMS3 PC3-12800
System drive: Intel X25-M 80GB SSD
Data drive: Seagate 1TB Barracuda HDD
    Videocard: Sapphire Radeon HD 5850

After reading threads on this forum I've tried to diagnose the issue, but only found that I'm unable to narrow down what is causing the crashes. I've updated the drivers and firmware to the latest for the chipset, lan, videocard and SSD but still had crashes. In the last month I've ran diagnostics on both the SDD and HDD and came up error-free. Also ran memtest86+ on both DIMMs individually with 45 passes error-free, so the diagnosis tools make it seem like it's not a hardware fail.

Can someone please help me figure out what is crashing my system? Attached are the minidump files in a zip. If there is anything other information that would help just let me know.

all of your drivers do look like they are up to date , the oldest being feb 2009 and when i ran windows debugger you have a multitude of suggested cause most of them being memory corruption but remember that could be symptom not cause :)

we cannot however dismiss ram as the issue and it might be disappointing to know that ram tests only detect very faulty ram as nothing stresses ram like windows can

I did notice there was a problem with loading the symbol for a realtek driver

this is Rt64win7.sys 26/02/2009 Realtek Ethernet driver and it might be a good idea to check your version update or maybe rollback etc ?

the other thing to check is your antivirus and possibly third party firewall if you have one ?

the most stable setup is windows firewall and MSE for your AV

keep us updated on progress :)

Oo yes what's your power supply make and model and quantity of RAM ?

I also agree with ickymay: try updating the Realtek driver. If that doesn't help, follow the instructions here and run #'s 2 and 5: System Information Collection - Windows Live

Thank you both for the quick response. Oh right I forgot to mention in my first post that I use to have Avira Antivir installed, but another thread mentioned that Antivir was causing them issues with 64bit Windows 7. So About a week ago I removed it and installed Avast AVG. I have no other firewalls other than that.

    PSU: Corsair HX 520W
    RAM: Corsair XMS3 2 sticks x 2GB each

Currently there is only 1 stick installed as I am trying to see if the problem might be just one of the DIMMs. It has crashes today with this stick. Do you know if there is any other way to test the RAM?

Today the system has been relatively cooperative and only Firefox has caused a couple of crashes. There was no minidump file written for those crashes. Occasionally the system will reboot and there will be no minidump. Hate to think that there are multiple things causing different crashes.

I've updated the realtek ethernet driver to the latest from the Gigabyte driver website. Will keep you posted on the results.

So far updating the Realtek Ethernet Driver hasn't stopped the system from crashing.

Managed to get more memory corruption dumps from playing flash video on firefox and chrome. Other dumps point to the ntkrnlmp.exe

These are the latest minidumps. Hopefully they can give insight into the root cause.

ntkrnlmp.exe is a symptom rather than a cause where something in the crash is tipping over the NT kernel, you have a variety of bugchecks which talk equally about ntkrnlmp.exe and memory_corruption so my first suspicion wuld still be ram ........

can you try running your system with just one stick for a while ?

do you have a friend who could lend you a gfx card for long enough to test stability ?

You're probably right. I'm suspecting the RAM also. For the last week there was only 1 stick of ram installed until yesterday when it started dumping and crashing every 10mins. Since swapping to the other stick yesterday, the system has frozen once but no crash and thus no minidump file.

I do have a spare gfx that I could use to test stability, but for the moment I want to run the system with all else the same except for the stick of ram and see if the same dumps occur.

Ok so after a couple days of trial with stick#2 the system produced similar dumps as with stick#1.

I will try swapping to my spare gfx tonight and check the stability with that.

Attached are the minidumps from stick#2. Maybe there is something in there that can give a different angle on this issue.
