    BSOD - Cause: ? - 4 different minidumps included

    Hey,

first of all, yes i've read about the other bsod threads, but non of their minidumps was the same as mine, so i decided to open a new thread.

I bought this PC on thursday and have had problems with it ever since. After installing windows i got bluescreens every few minutes, running different applications (like ie or firefox) or none at all, at startup, at shut down, never in saved mode, though.
I installed windows debugging tools to analyse the minidumps or memory dumps and google its contents and try to fix it in the last 5 days.

Ive had loads of different bluescreens, here are the ones i remember:

    1. System_service_exception

    0x000003B or 0x0000007E

    2. dxgmm1.sys
    3. ntfs.sys
    4. cage_manager
    5. amdppm.sys
    6. tcpip.sys
    7. memory.dmp always showed me the problem was cdd.dll

I might have fixed some of them or cause different bluscreens by doing:

    - reinstall windows --> 3. time reinstalling bluscreen allready at first windows start
    - install updates
    - install no updates
    - latest drivers for mainboard, audio, display, chipset, lan, usb, raid.
    - windows drivers
    - different drivers (like catalyst 10.1, 10.2, earlier)
    - additionally install directX
    - sfc /scannow
    - chkdsk /r
    - windows recovery
    and much more

!! only improvement: after installing a codec pack by shark007 (Shark007.net - Windows 7 Codecs - WMP12 Codecs) i only get crashes when playing games! thats pretty good but what caused it? something to do with directX maybe? i want to play games though, so i need to really fix it.

What i need is someone that can really read the minidumps, since some parameters are always the same:

    LAST_CONTROL_TRANSFER: from fffff800031a4df0 to fffff80002e8efb4

    STACK_TEXT:

    Minidumps:
RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting

I really appreciate any help since i tried all i could and im pretty desperate right now.

Hardware failure is possible, but since i got it working for the desktop for now and i was able to play for like an hour yesterday im not sure it is the new hardware. i cant say what hardware it might be anyway.

ok i read about driver verifier on this forum and did that. the last few bluescreens all say it was the dxgmms1.sys problem, which points to directx if im not mistaken:

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for dxgkrnl.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for dxgkrnl.sys
    Probably caused by : dxgmms1.sys ( dxgmms1!VidMmDestroyAllocation+14 )

but i got the latest version installed, latest graphic drivers, too. so whats the problem?

Havent read your dumps but if the driver verified dumps are pointing at dxgmms as you quoted and they are the latest updated versions already then i would try removing totally and reinstalling a fresh copy

    Hey Pauly,

thanks for the answer. Unfortunatly, i have allready installed windows 3 times as mentioned above, the 3. time it even crashed at the very first login screen. It must have something to do with the hardware. Thats why i need someone to take a look at my minidumps.
