    BSOD Memory_Management

    Hi all,

I use Windows 7 X64 on my PC (Intel Q9550, 2x2gb Ram Corsait Kit DDr2) since september. I haven't had any problem and it works perfectly until last week. Unfortunately, from a week I'am unable to start my pc with windows because I've an error message:

    Windows error recovery

windows failed to start. a recent hardware or software change might be the cause.

If windows files have been damaged or configured incorrectly, startup repair can help daignose and fix the problem. If power was interrupted during startup, choose start windows normally.

    launch startup repair
    start windows normally.
I try to run the startup repair, but after 5 minutes it told me that it was unable to find a solution to my problem and my computer restart.
If I try to restart my computer and launch windows normally I've two different way. Sometime I couldn't start windows and after 2 minutes that I see the windows 7 logo my computer automatically restart. While sometime, I could start my computer and logon into windows but I have a wrong screen resolution and after 5 minutes I see some BSOD with error "memory_management" or "page_fault_in_non_paged_area" or "process_or_thread_crucial_to_system_operation_has_unexpectly_exited_or_been_terminated"

    STOP 0X00000050 (0XFFFFF8A800E2B068,0X0000000000000000,0XFFFFF8000D1AC426,0X0000000000000005).

and some time I've a CPU over temperature ERROR (100°) after reboot.

If I try to launch on the same computer the other operative system installed (Ubuntu 9.04) it works perfectly. I don't change any hardware configuration recently so I don't have idea on the cause of the problem.

    I upload the Minidump files.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks for your patience
    Best regards

You have a couple of causes here but they are al related to memory. Before you can track down the individual causes you need to resolve the memory problem.

I would download memtestx86 and run it for 5 passes.

    Let us know the results

    Thanks zigzag3143
I follow your advise and I found a lot of error on my RAM, so I try to remove a block of RAM and I resolve my problem, so I think that it was broken. Now my computer works perfectly but it has only 2Gb of RAM.
Has anyone had experience with the Corsair and the assistance of Corsair? I read that all Corsair DRAM memory modules have a lifetime warranty.

    Thanks to all
