multiple BSOD errors

hi there,

so recently (about 2 weeks ago) I upgraded my Windows 7 RC to the retail and official release of Windows 7. Ever since my upgrade, I've been getting BSOD's like crazy. I get about 5-6 a day on average. The BSOD errors vary..I've posted the most recent BSOD errors I've gotten along with my system specs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you

Windows 7 - Vista

Hi -

No BSODs from the driver verifier?

RE: Windows 7 RTM -

1. You say that you 'upgraded' from RC - do you own a full retail copy of Windows 7 RTM?
2. What was the original OS on the system, i.e., Vista, XP, etc...?
3. IF #1 NO, is it an OEM upgrade?
4. Did you wipe the HDD with product like KillDisk before installing Windows 7 RTM?
5. How long did you run Windows 7 RC?
6. Did you run Windows 7 Beta prior to RC?
7. Any BSODs under RC or Beta?
8. How soon after Windows 7 RTM installation did BSODs begin?

For #8 - check the Reliability Monitor -
START | type perfmon /rel | review daily history - click on red X

I'll be glad to run the dumps for the current system, but I would like additional system information as well.

Please follow these instructions --> BSOD Posting Instructions

The batch script in step #2 --> https://www.sevenforums.com/attachmen..._jcgriff2_.zip

Attach the resulting zip file to your next post.

Windows 7 32-bit

hey,

so far I've only had 2 BSOD's (including one about 5 minutes ago) since I ran the verifier on Sunday night..which is great because I was getting about 7 BSOD's a day.

I had Windows XP and I installed Windows 7 Beta. After the RC came out, I installed the RC and ran it for about 5-6 months before I installed the RTM version of Windows 7. I did a "Custom install" where you wipe the drive and get files copied over to the Windows.old folder. The BSODs started happening pretty much immediately right after I installed the Windows 7 RTM. I had no BSODs with the beta and RC versions of Windows 7.

I will PM you with a zip file.

thanks a lot I really appreciate it.
