ok...changed the boot order so the c drive will be the first and now i can do system restore from the recovery tools:)

btw, i have dual boot xp and the 7 and now i don't have the option to choose system when login, so i guess i always can change the order in the bios and to make the old system as first boot and this way i will have the dual boot again. (i am not going to do so, cause my xp attacked by bad virus few days ago and all i am getting is bsod even after i made all the recovery stuff for xp, but nothing worked so i am with 7 now and i have all the files on the xp drive, so no big deal:) also, i had to step forward sometime so this virus made it faster

thanks for the support, problem been solved.

You can add XP manually to the BCD using EasyBCD, if you're interested.
