    new error

I have this error here that I have been getting. The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load for the device Root\SIDESHOW\0001

It really isn't bothering me any but it keeps showing up in my error log. Any help is greatly appreciated. This is a fresh build and first install.

I wonder if your camera software from Nokia is having problems. Maybe your camera driver is corrupted, or maybe the program itself is having trouble.

    Try uninstalling that program.

Figured I'd post some of these, both to get my own answers as well as to provide some answers I have found. Here's a fix :

1.a The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load for the device Root\SIDESHOW\0001.

1.b The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load for the device Root\SIDESHOW\0000.

To fix this go into the LCD manager for the G15 and UNCHECK left and right boxes for the 2 sideshow apps (mono and QVGA). Win 7 is incompatible with those apps.
    Try that.

I do not see where I have any thing from Nokia installed, if you see it please let me know. I did uncheck the left and right boxes for the 2 sideshow apps. I still have the same problem.

o.k this will show you how much I really know about windows 7, but I am the only one on this p.c. and I thought I was running everything as admin. Is there something else I am suppose to do?

If you're not using the built in (and hidden by default) Administrator account, you will still need to run some applications as Administrator for them to work correctly, even if your own account is an admin account.

    Did removing the camera help?

no it is still there, and while talking to another clan member he is getting the same error. Please correct me if I am wrong but this sideshow is just for apps, isn't it, and if so I don't have any apps running when the p.c. boots up. The only app. that runs is when I join TS for my keyboard lcd. I do have a gigabyte program that I have to allow to run each time the p.c. starts. Do you think this could be a issue?

Try disabling that and see if the error still shows up.
