ghostly random restarts

So i just upgraded my PC...again...and what was originally a gateway PC that costed me $1000 2 years ago, is now a complete custom build. Slowly replacing parts here and there as they broke or needed updating until it was a completely new computer. The problem now it the same problem that has been plagueing me since about two months into owning the original gateway computer. The problem is that about every hour on the hour the computer just decides it's going to restart itself. Now if i still had some of the original components from the Gateway then i would just figure it had something to do with that particular part, however now with not a single original piece in the case it is still having this problem. I've tried using different outlets and power strips in my house and still the same issue. I 've checked all the capacitors on the board. I've checked all the temps on all components and there is no overheating. So i am at a loss here as there seems to be a ghost in my house that really doesn't like me. So if anyone has any ideas the help would be greatly appreciated!

Every hour exactly? So it sounds like a timer. I would scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. Also, check the Event Viewer on your computer for anything that might explain it. Do you have anything scheduled using the scheduler or any piece of software that could be causing this?

So I used my virus scanner to no avail, then I just went through and started updating drivers on everything that I could think of. Apparently something worked as I haven't had a bsod in a couple o days now, so I'm hoping that my ghost is gone. Thank you for all he help guys! It's nice to have a forum like this.
