Your on the right track it looks like, your north bridge voltage "SPP" may need a bit more voltage and the command rate will usually be more stable at the 2T setting. Make those changes that I outlined in bold red.

It may take a few days or a week of computer use to determine if the changes were effective or not. Memtest can also be used to stress test the system, I like the Windows version the best for that. Report back in after testing.

http://hcidesign.com/memtest/ You need to run one instance of this test per CPU core and also divide the unused memory by the number of CPU cores and input it that number into each test.

No reason to be insane or get upset, this is standard procedure for the 790i. Madmax you had your chances earlier to fix this problem but didn't mention a thing about memory settings. This was a very obvious problem for me because I use to hang out at the EVGA forums and have helped hundreds get their settings correct on the 790i which always requires precise bios adjustments to run stable.

Yeah, I would most definately change the command rate to 2T, since the system has OCZ Gold series. I can pull off 1T with OCZ Platinum, along with super low latency in my newest rig [2-2-3-12-1T]. However, I have OCZ Gold in my old rig, and I have to use the 2T command rate on that one. It's still a pretty fast rig with dual channel enabled though.

Thanks for checking in GW2, if those changes don't work there are other changes we can make to fix this type of problem so stick with it and we can solve it. :)

Thanks for the Rep Gw2. Looks like those settings I posted got you stable. Kinda figured that would work. The 790i can be a real pain when it comes to memory settings. Glad you are up and running again. :)
