Please Help!

I have a custom computer that I've been using since the release of Windows 7, and for as long as I've had it, it always seems to screw up pretty badly after a random amount of time of being on. It seems that the time between these screw ups has been getting shorter and shorter, as it has happened 4 times today. What happens is that all audio stops, and all videos play only 1 frame per second, skipping 14 frames per second. The computer seems to think that nothing is wrong, since it will still clearly be shown to be detected when I look at the volume levels. Please help, this has been bugging me for so long, and at this point it is completely unbearable. I have all computer specs that would really matter listed on my account page.

00Shadow Hi,
Have you had any BSOD's?
If so please refer to https://www.sevenforums.com/crash-loc...d-problem.html

Also check in Event Viewer & note any error events.
[Start - type in Event Viewer - Windows Logs - Application.]

No, I haven't had any BSOD's. Thanks for the tip though, I think I may have found what may be causing the problem. I repeatedly see the message "Windows detected your registry file is still in use by other applications or services. The file will be unloaded now. The applications or services that hold your registry file may not function properly afterwards." I don't know if this is a sign of a virus, since the first time I can see it in the logs is October 24, two days after I started using the computer. However, it does seem to be the log corresponding to the problem, although I could be wrong.

Please take a snip of the error message[s] you are referring to.
What Security Progs are you using?

If you look through that, you can see that I have Trend Micro installed on my computer.

Do you get this message when in safe mode?
If not check in msconfig to diagnose. [ See pic below - if you require further help with this let us know.]
I note Trend Micro is mentioned in your "report." Was a prior Anti Virus Prog installed? If it was, did you use the appropriate uninstall tool?
Please also re check in Event Viewer & list the CRITICAL errors there.
Let us know the results again.
Jan.
