If the power is cutting out (maybe from a bad PSU or outlet), the system may never get the Stop instructions. A memory dump is never triggered.

Myabe it is the reset button itself. The front panel has a bunch of cables running out to the motherboard. they all connect to the motherboard in one set of pins. The bunch can either be all connected together as one plug or many different plugs (one for each function).

If I remember correctly, the reset button cables should be one hot and one ground. the ground might not be connected or the hot and ground placed on the wrong pins. If you are uncertain how to check this, take it to the shop and ask them to check it.

Did you install the mobo and connect all the cables yourself? or was that the shops doing?

Or the coolermaster people also might have put the wrong wires in it as well

Edit: this would fit your situation as the reset button is a hard reset and wont show a BSOD

here is a good picture of what the Front Panel connectors look like and some good info: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...pc,518-14.html

You can also have them disconnect the Reset button connections and see if you still random-restart.

Another thing. If they are required to fix it as it is under warrentee and they are not....you could take it to a different shop and if they can fix the problem....bill the shop that should have fixed it first. Just an idea.

It sounds to me that they are either blowing you off - not knowing how to fix it and saying it is fine, or they might just think it is fine and not see your problem.

If this was happening before the re-build then it is most likely a faulty front panel instead of a human error of connecting the pins to the right place. but sometimes multiple people make the same mistake.

things like this happen both ways. I hope it gets sorted out.

Okay. My PC is connected and everything is operating smoothly... I just have to wait for a restart
If the restart never happen... then I think finally, the problem will reveal itself...

One question though: How long do I wait to say 'Okay... no restarts... the reset wire was the threat!!' ??
