Keep uploading your dmps as they come up; just remember to delete them from C:\Windows\Minidump after you do, so we don't run the same ones over and over again.

I see the driver sptd.sys is loaded, and that has been known to cause a lot of BSODs.

wouldnt the audio drivers be disabled in safe mode though? have you tried the same in normal mode? also how do you do this test? is it the standard audio test? if so ive done that many times but not for this problem i was checking something else.

that does not sound right to me you would think if the sound is supposed to work in safe mode it would more likely cause an issue in normal mode rather than safe mode.

well im hoping im not speaking too soon here. 2 whole weeks now and no crash on anything (apart from opera browser not responding at times but that happens on my other machine too). the last time i did was a windows update on the 12th of this month and since then its been fine. my computer has been used as usual with many applications run and run 6-12 hours a day every day for the past 2 weeks so after all that ive come to the conclusion it was windows itself that was the problem! not suprising really considering windows 7 hasnt even got its first service pack.

had similar and different problems on early versions of xp but after sp1 it was all good.

moral of the story is dont blame your hardware especially if it works fine in an earlier os.

hopefully now i wont be back here with this problem again.

Hello! My win7 was working perfectly for about a month. About 2 days ago i started getting blue screens on my W7RC 64-bit. And that was traced down to one of my DDR3 sticks, which still had warranty and I got a new set yesterday. Right after the new RAM arrived and i inserted it, I started...
