yeah theres not much information there its pissing me off to be honest. i got lots of work to do and cant do it with the computer crashing all the time!
yes and i cant there isnt any! thats what i was saying in the post before the bump "not much information"
just noticed on the bottom of the code FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: X64_0x124_AuthenticAMD_PROCESSOR_BUS_PRV
im guessing here that would be something to do with the processor driver? i had a look at the driver and its really old! which would explain VISTA_DRIVER_FAULT
i have looked for newer ones but there is nothing with amd
Try testing your RAM with Memtest. Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder.. Boot from the CD, and run at least 5 passes.
ive run a memory test on my ram as per previous posts.
i have since found a guy i know online with the same processor as me an asus board with a higher chipset than me, different make of ram and he is running an ATI card where as mine is nvidia and he is having the same problems as i am thats why im thinking its probably a processor driver. given there is no actual windows 7 drivers for the processor this would explain what is seen in my dump file and his also.
anyone have any thought on the processor driver? it seems i have done many tests now and im getting nowhere the only thing that pops up is mentioned previously VISTA_DRIVER_FAULT and FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: X64_0x124_AuthenticAMD_PROCESSOR_BUS_PRV
computer restarted for no reason i got a mini dump file attached. suprise suprise! its the same as the last one upon a quick look!
